Radio Silence

Over the next few days, I will be travelling with Mitch and Stephen to the coast for a day at the beach before returning to Accra for our flight home.  Over this period, I wouldn't have access to internet, so I wouldn't be able to blog.  However, once I get back to the United States on Tuesday night (January 25th), I will make sure to post about my experiences while travelling as well as some more general posts about various aspects of life and culture in Ghana.  Check back in a few days (and there will be pictures finally)!

  1. Honey, I read about Turtle Lodge on the coast of Ghana where you all are and it sounds so cool. I went to trip advisor to find out about it. Can't wait to have you back in the good ole USA...see you soon baby...enjoy, enjoy and ...make good choices! :) mom

  2. Hi Zac, Sorry I have been MIA for a little while. We had a lot going on with Uncle Doug.
This experience will change you in ways you might not even realize. You have always cared deeply about others, but giving back in the way you have is truly amazing. Thank you for sharing your "wonders"ful heart with the people of Ghana .
    Be safe and be happy!
    Love you,
    Auntie Karen

  3. Hey Zac! Sorry I'm just now leaving you a message as your trip is coming to an end, but it sounds like Ghana has been a great experience. Last semester for my Advertising Campaigns class our client was Charity: water. I'm not sure if your work was for this organization or not but charity:water's mission is to bring clean water to different communities in Africa. They have volunteers build wells, etc and all funding for the projects comes from donations (again, maybe you're already aware of charity: water). It's awesome that you decided to participate in such a wonderful project. Hope you have fun at the beach!
